Is Canon City real estate still selling?

I sometimes wonder if people are still buying. However just when I think that the market is dead, another sign goes down, another house sold.

In the neighborhood where my sister’s house is for sale, there are several wonderful town homes for sale. I have seen one close and sell lately. So that gets me to thinking…

Are the people who typically buy in a retirement area afraid to buy right now?
Are they being sold a bill of goods by the media that all is lost?
Are there retired people out there still ready to move but afraid to make that big purchase right now?

I can hardly wait for the Elm Ave. Greenhouse to open so I can rush in and buy all my favorites to put in the yard, the flower barrels and anywhere else I can squeeze them.

This week I made a few other stops too at some other local places selling flowers.

As far as I am concerned, any place selling new first of the spring time flowers is a good place.
